Riodine Iodine Tincture Antiseptic Antiseptic Solution, potent antiseptic to kill bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is non-irritating and does not cause permanent staining.
Povidone iodine is a powerful antiseptic and disinfectant. In contact with skin and mucous membranes of the povidone iodine complex gradually releases the active iodine, which works quickly and has a microbicidal effect (causing the death of a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa).

Riodine liquid is a potent antiseptic to kill bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is non-irritating and does not cause permanent staining.
Povidone iodine is a powerful antiseptic and disinfectant. In contact with skin and mucous membranes of the povidone iodine complex gradually releases the active iodine, which works quickly and has a microbicidal effect (causing the death of a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa). 10 % solution is applied to the skin for:
Preoperative and post-operative skin antisepsis
Preoperative antiseptic preparation of the lining of the vagina
Antiseptic preparation of the skin and mucous membranes of injections, aspiration needle biopsy
Maintaining oral hygiene before, during and after dental or oral surgery
Disinfect skin (prevention of bacterial, viral and fungal infections, and protozoal infections)
Antiseptic treatment of wounds (lacerations, abrasions, and static decubital infected ulcers, pyodermia, secondarily infected dermatoses, burns of second and third degree)
Antiseptic treatment of acute infection of the lining of the mouth and pharynx (gingivitis, stomatitis, mouth ulcers, oral candidiasis, oral ulcers, superficial abscesses, abscesses herpetic)
Antiseptic treatment of inflammation of the vagina (non-specific or mixed)
Irrigation (flushing) body cavity or organ (bladder, bowel, vagina, pleural and peritoneal cavities) for therapeutic and preventive purposes
Active Ingredients:
Riodine Antiseptic Liquid contains 10% Povidone-Iodine. equiv to 1% w/w available Iodine.
Directions:
Apply undiluted to cleaned area with cotton tipped applicators or cotton wool, 3-4 times daily or as required. Area may be bandaged.
Cautions:
For external use only. Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine. If you experience any form of irritation, redness or swelling, please discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals. Keep it away from the reach and sight of children. Store it in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
