The David one step Cassette Pregnancy Test detects hCG, the hormone produced during pregnancy. The amount of this pregnancy hormone increases as your pregnancy progresses. This test is designed to detect 25IU/ml of the hCG and should be able to tell you if you are pregnant the day your period is due if you have a 28-day cycle.
