-Patented Two Row Technology
Developed by a pharmacy, Shantys Nitcomb-M3 has three rows of teeth-fine and extra fine. This patented two row technology comb doubles the effectiveness you get with a single row comb. The front row of teeth glides through the hair removing the larger head lice, followed by the rear extra fine row, which removes any smaller head lice, nits and eggs.
After using a head lice treatment (e.g. NeutraLice Lotion, spray or advance) use the Nitcomb-M2 to detect and remove dead lice and their eggs. For easy removal of eggs use NeutraLice Conditioner Shampoo Lice Egg Remover daily, it contains acetic acid which breaks the bond between the nits and the hair. NeutraLice Lotion, Spray and Advance are designed to be used three times 7 days apart. Use NeutraLice Conditioner Shampoo with Nitcomb-M2 daily between head lice treatments to help end the head lice cycle.
How to use the Notcomb-M2
The detection and removal of head lice eggs or nits can be very difficult and frustrating as nits are attached to the hair with a glue-like substance. Unless all the nits are removed there is a risk of re-infestation of head lice as the nits hatch between 7 to 10 days.
To effectively detect and remove nits, follow these five easy steps:
1) Shampoo with NeutraLice Conditioner Shampoo Lice Egg Remover. While hair is still damp start at the top of the head and lift a 2cm section of hair.
2) Ensure the teeth of the comb are as deep into the hair as they can go and touching the scalp.
3) Comb with a firm even motion away from the scalp to the end of the hair. Wipe nits completely from the comb with a tissue.
4) Continue process with each section of hair.
5) Rinse hair with water and towel dry.
Rinse and clean comb between teeth with warm clean soapy water using a fine nail brush during and after combing. Thoroughly rinse and dry once finished, then store in a dry place.
Do not use comb if teeth are damaged.
